Short answer: keep the scalp clean, massage it gently, avoid harsh heat, and keep any active steps such as derma rolling on a fixed, spaced-out schedule from your product directions.
The weekly plan
Wash days (2 to 4 times a week, more if you sweat a lot). Use a mild shampoo and focus it on the scalp. Rinse thoroughly, especially with hard water.
Daily 3-minute massage. Use your fingertips, not nails, in small circles. It feels good and is a nice habit to keep.
Oiling (optional). If you love desi oiling, apply a few hours before washing rather than leaving it on a sweaty scalp all day.
Derma roller day. On a clean, dry scalp: antiseptic prep, gentle rolling, then serum. Follow the frequency printed in your kit. Never roll on irritated skin.
Rest days. Let the scalp recover. Skip heavy styling and tight hairstyles.
Small things that add up
- Sleep on a clean pillowcase and change it often in summer.
- Avoid very hot showers and blow-drying on the highest heat.
- Eat a varied diet. Low iron and protein can show up in hair; a doctor can test this.
- Manage stress where you can. Shedding often follows stressful months.
Keep it consistent
Hair grows slowly, so any routine needs months, not days, to judge. Take a photo in the same light once a month instead of checking the mirror daily.
